During our upcoming meeting in January on the 22cd we expect to hear from the new President of Olin College, May Lee. She will share her vision for the future and learn more about the Needham community she has just moved to last year.

The club had its first meeting to start planning for America's 250th Anniversary. The committee chairs outlined some new initiatives. We also heard from Gloria Greis, the Executive Director of the Needham History Center and Museum. She told the story of Needham's involvement in the 1775 battle at Lexington and Concord.

The Club honored the past Presidents of the club on November 6th. We also heard from current president and CEO of the Charles River Center, Anne Marie Bajwa about her leadership and how it has evolved in her current role.

The club's Fruit and Chocolate sale is back! After a two-year absence the Florida citrus and Phillips a 100-year-old Boston Chocolate vendor are featured in our holiday fundraiser. The club heard from local historian Anthony Sammarco about the history of Chocolate in Boston during our recent meeting. Please support the club with your purchases,

The club honored five of our eight major sponsors at the dinner on September 18th. One of our Event Sponsors, John McNulty of McNulty Construction addressed the group. He explained why he supports the July 4th event and what it has meant to his family the past twenty years.

We were honored to have Katie King our new town manager speak to the club at our first meeting of this year on September 4th. She introduced herself to our members and reviewed her priorities for the year.

The Club honored retiring Town Manager Kate Fitzpatrick at its recent dinner/meeting. Recognizing her many years of service to the town and her partnership with the club. Kate will be our Parade Marshal for the July 4th Parade. The July 3&4 celebration is hosted by the Exchange Club.
